The first of December 2010 at 2:00 PM in the presence of a significant number of Babalawos from Cuba and other countries and the members of the Cuban Council of High Ifa Priests, the ceremonies corresponding to the Pre – opening of the the letter of the year for 2011 were conducted at the Institucion Religiosa Asociacion Cultural Yoruba de Cuba.
The 25 recommendations were the following:
According to Ifa: The success in this year Hill depend on how well we are able to organize our life in general.
According to Ifa: Women should be highly respected. Honor the daughters of Yemaya.
According to Ifa: There will still be problems with the climate. Do not take lightly the information about hurricanes, Cyclones, tornados, tsunamis, intense rain, earthquakes or prolonged dry spells.
According to Ifa: Maintain the family together and help each other. Honor your spouse.
According to Ifa: Avoid arguments with your couple as it can lead to serious damages.
According to Ifa: Find understanding within the generations, unify your relationship with relatives as well as others.
According to Ifa: Listen to the message of your Egun’s (loved ones that have departed) and your spiritual guides.
According to Ifa: Listen closely to your children and guide them by example.
According to Ifa: Listen and heed the advise of our Mothers.

RECOMENDACIONES.
Dice Ifa: Que el triunfo de este año está basado en la organización que mantengamos en nuestras vidas en general.
Dice Ifa: Que debemos respetar a las mujeres y en especial este año a las hijas de Yemaya.
Dice Ifa: Se mantendrán los problemas climatológicos, por lo que no se puede descuidar, y estar al tanto de las informaciones, sobre, huracanes, ciclones, tornados, penetraciones del mar, lluvias intensas, o sequías prolongadas, sismos, etc.

Dice Ifa: Que se deberá buscar la comprensión entre mayores y menores, con la unificación de padrinos e ahijados y demás familiares, así como demás ciudadanos.
Dice Ifa: Que debemos atender a los Egun ( muertos) familiares, espirituales y protectores.
Dice Ifa: Que debemos prestar mayor atención a nuestros hijos, haciendo de guía con el ejemplo, esto es muy importante.

Dice Ifa: Que debemos mantener la casa limpia y sobre todo la cocina, donde no debemos dejar lozas sucias o con desperdicios de comida, pondremos asistencia de azucenas en las cocinas.
Dice Ifa: Que debemos mantener la armonía y las buenas relaciones para así evitar que nos echen maldiciones y amarres.
Dice Ifa: Que el Babalawo debe estudiar para ampliar sus conocimientos y tomar conciencia del papel que juega en nuestra religión y en la sociedad.
Dice Ifa: Que debemos mantener una conducta social y laboral correcta, para evitar problemas de justicia.
Dice Ifa: Que sea claro en sus pasos para evitar la confusión y las malas interpretaciones de sus actos.
Dice Ifa: Que evitemos el derroche de dinero, para que no nos falte.
Dice Ifa: Que debemos meditar y analizar nuestras acciones antes de realizarlas sobre todo en la vida laboral.
Dice Ifa: Que debemos evitar atentar contra nuestras vidas.
Dice Ifa: Que no cambiemos lo seguro por lo inseguro.
Dice Ifa: Que debemos cuidar la moral de la familia, evitando problemas de prostitución, proxenetismo, drogas, y vicios en general. .
Dice Ifa: Que debemos tener especial cuidado y atención, con las vías respiratorias, aparato digestivo, presión arterial, corazón y enfermedades de los nervios.
Dice Ifa: Que mantengamos especial cuidado en nuestros actos para así evitar accidentes en general.
Dice Ifa: Que solamente mediante el trabajo se obtendrán los resultados deseados.

Para conocimiento general

El primero de Diciembre del 2010, a las 2:00 p.m. con la presencia de un número significativo de Babalawos cubanos y de otros países y los miembros del consejo Cubano de Sacerdotes Mayores de Ifa, se realizaron las ceremonias correspondientes a la Pre- apertura de la Letra del año 2010 en la Institución Religiosa Asociación Cultural Yoruba de Cuba.
Las recomendaciones fueron las siguientes:
Se dio lo que pidieron las 25 posiciones fundamentales. En todos los casos la respuesta de las deidades, fueron muy satisfactorias.
El día 30 de Diciembre del 2010, se hicieron los sacrificios correspondientes a las deidades que se determinó en la Pre- Apertura.
