Financial stimulus package thats all we hear each time we turn on the news. Im not here to discuss the merits of the newly signed economic package but to simply point out there is another type of stimulus that would greatly benefit our Country and the World in general. This Stimulus package has nothing to do with money or politicians. It is flexible and easy to implement in the place where it counts most our own home.
It seems that in our quest to stimulate the sagging economy we may have forgotten that our spirituality is the greatest asset we have. It is our spirit that inspires us to go forward and overcome obstacles. To help others in times of need. To feel compassion for those that are hurting, and to pull together as a society. Lets not forget that greatness can only be achieved with the absolute devotion, discipline and faith that comes directly from our spiritual self. Our Spirit feeds our strength. It empowers us to become a better mother, father, wife, husband, neighbor and so on. If we stimulate our spirit we are guaranteeing a better life for ourselves and others. A life where we all benefit from the joy of knowing all is well because we have the strength to support ourselves and others. Real strength is the one that comes from within.
