This is final countdown! We are just a few days away from one of the most ENERGETIC AND POWERFULLY CHARGEDday of the year -DECEMBER 31 st. Have all your spiritual weapons ready and charge!! Whatever you love doing – Ritual Bathing, Candle burning, Incense burning – do it. But, do it with purpose and DIVINE FAITH (DIVINA FE) my friends.
Incense, is what we are going to talk about in our last posting before year end because, hello, lets face it there must be a reason why churches have been burning it for hundreds of years. If it’s good enough for the church then, it’s good enough for my home.
First, let’s get clear that there are many types of incense out there. Ok. so let’s make it easy to decide the kind of incense we want to burn and how it must be burned:
Granular Incense (how to burn):
This is a dry kind ofincense that must be burned with charcoal. My favorite charcoal to use and frankly one of the very best out there is 3 King charcoal (http://www.divinafe.com/shop/item.asp?itemid=808). These round 40mm briskets come packed 10 to a roll and will last for 10 burnings. The ideal way to burn the charcoal is to hold it with a pair of twissors, light it with a long lighter, and as soon as it starts sparking place it in a metal or ceramic incense burner(http://www.divinafe.com/shop/item.asp?itemid=511). When the entire top of thecharcoal becomes white with ash its time to sprinkle the granular incense on top.
Granular Incense – Which type to burn:
Frankincense (church incense)(http://www.divinafe.com/shop/item.asp?itemid=510) – A favorite with the Catholic Church. Our ancestors used to embalm the dead with it. This was one of the gifts the Magi presented to Baby Jesus. Its magical uses include: purification, protection, cleansing of negative energies, connection to higher vibrations, personal energy, ideal for prayer and evolution.
Myrrh (http://www.divinafe.com/shop/item.asp?itemid=1079)- Native of Africa. It was used by our ancestors in the elaboration of perfumes and extracts. This was one of the gift the Magi brought to Baby Jesus. Its magical uses include: stimulation, protection, meditation, cleansing of people and places, strength for rituals, protection from the evil eye and jinxes, Keeps away low energy and bad influences.
Gift of the Magi (http://www.divinafe.com/shop/item.asp?itemid=469)- One of the most beatiful incenses ever created. Inspired by the 3 gifts the Magi brought to Baby Jesus – Incense, Gold, and Myrrh. It has all 3 elements! Burn it for peace, happiness, good fortune and blessings.
Gold Caviar (http://www.divinafe.com/shop/item.asp?itemid=1101) – A Divinafe exclusive. It comes to us only once a year. An amazing blend of Frankincense, Essential Oils and 24kt Gold Mica (no kidding!). Burn it to attract money, MONEY, MONEY!
Estoraque (Benjui) (http://www.divinafe.com/shop/item.asp?itemid=1076)- An aromatic resin extracted from Styrax. Magical uses: purification, prosperity, peace, creativity, intellectual development, understanding, intuition, emotional stability, protection from jinxes and curses.
Copal (http://www.divinafe.com/shop/item.asp?itemid=1075) – Resin obtained from the Acacia tree. It does not have a smell so it can be mixed with aromatic oils and it will absorve its properties. Its magical uses are related to the aromatic oils you choose to mix it with.
Dragon’s Blood (http://www.divinafe.com/shop/item.asp?itemid=875- A rare resin from Africa. The star marks its seal of authenticity. Spiritual workers treasure this incense for its power of invocation, sealingpacts and strenghtening rituals.
7 Power Incense (http://www.divinafe.com/shop/item.asp?itemid=1086)- An amazing mix of Myrrh, Copal, Estoraque, Dragon’s Blood, Camphor, Rosemary and Eucaliptus. Its many uses I will leave to your imagination. Think of it and, yes you can use it!
Incense sticks and cones (http://www.divinafe.com/shop/category.asp?catid=45)- Very popular for their easy way to burn and its fantastic aroma. Their magical uses vary according to the aroma you choose.
Powder Incense (http://www.divinafe.com/shop/category.asp?catid=46)- Easy to burn because it is self lightning and does not require charcoal. You must place it in metal container and form a small pyramid then light the top and watch it burn. Their magical use varies with the aroma and color of the powder.
Palo Santo Incense(http://www.divinafe.com/shop/category.asp?catid=56) – A little bit goes a long way! This beloved South American incense is revered for its exorcising properties. Place in a metal container and burn a small piece by lighting each end.
And there you have it my dear magic workers out there – my little expose on the magical virtues of incense. This is only a minute reference to the many uses of this amazing substance. We are so priviledge that God gave us this little piece of heaven for us to use here on earth! Incense is for everyone -royals, priests, shamans and you and me -we can all benefit from its wonderful powers.
Happy new year and be well, be safe, and be your own…
